


I’m Krishnan Subramanian, a certified yoga instructor from The Yoga Institute and a fitness trainer passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. My fitness journey began in 2012 when I was battling hypertension, hyperthyroidism, high cholesterol, gastritis, being overweight, and struggling with habits like smoking and alcohol consumption. Determined to reclaim my health, I embarked on a transformative journey that reshaped my body, mindset, and lifestyle.
My Journey
Starting was far from easy. When I took up running, I faced physical challenges like shin splints, blisters, lower back pain, and tendinitis, alongside the emotional toll of managing stress. However, I learned to overcome these obstacles through consistent effort, yoga, and mindfulness practices. I discovered the critical role of nutrition in fitness, helping me recover from injuries, fuel my performance, and sustain progress.
Since then, I’ve completed over 20 half marathons and one full marathon, with a personal best time of 2 hours for a half marathon. This journey has also inspired my family and wellness is now a disciplined priority for my wife and daughters, creating a shared commitment to health and fitness for us.
